This adapter creates the ability to input superb sounding music (MP3, i-Pod) or any other audio/media device that features a 3.5mm plug into the Bose X’s™
This adapter replaces the cover which is used to cover the 5-pin plug on the un-used (non-microphone) ear cup. It can be mounted on either side of the headset opposite the microphone using the manufacturer provided screws.
Be sure to save manufacturer's cover for future use.

- Stereo input adapter for the Bose™ Aviation X™ Headset
- Hi/Lo impedance switch for volume matching.
- Does not block aircraft communications

NOTE: There is no muting feature on this adapter. Muting is normaly a function of the communications panel of the aircraft.

Installation***
For Your Bose Aviation Headset X to work properly with the S-MOD, configure the small switches under the AA batteries on the Battery Powered Control Module in the following sequence: Switches 1 through 4 Down - towards the numbers. Switches 5 and 6 Up - away from the numbers.
