The PA-1779T takes full advantage of closer tolerances and componets providing an additional 18-22db of active noise cancellation plus 25db (NRR) passive. The headset is the only self-contained ANR in the industry with a rechargable nickel metal hydried (Ni-MH) battery with wall charger.
The PA-1779T Aviation Headset comes equipped with our new Auto On/off proprietary circuitry. The ANR will shut off automatically when the unit is unplugged from the aircraft or the master switch is turned off. This will conserve the batter's charge enabling longer use between charges.The headset will automatically turn on when it is plugged in and the radio turned on. There is a manual override On/Off switch on the headset in case you require the ANR function when the unit is not plugged into the aircraft.
The headset is fitted with a sheepskin fleece head pad and twin-layer silicone gel ear seals. The headset comes equipped with cell/satellite phone capability and has a true input jack so that a user can listen to music from a CD player, IPOD MP3 player or external radio.

1779TP panel mount version comes with standard PJ microphone and earphone plugs and a 3.5mm plug. A 3.5mm socket must be wired to the aircraft power (wiring diagram included). This headset does not include a battery or battery charger, ANR power comes from the aircraft power. A separate battery box is included and can be used as a portable power source for the ANR when flying in an aircraft not equipped with a 3.5mm power source. CMW Price $500.00
